Новые килли на Мадагаскаре.
Четыре новых вида икромечущих карпозубых - килли, семейства Aplocheilidae, обнаруженных в водоёмах Мадагаскара.
Получили названия Pachypanchax arnoulti, Pachypanchax patriciae, Pachypanchax sparksorum и Pachypanchax varatraza.

Yan , в полном виде ревизия опубликованав октябрьском номере журнала " Aqua" - издаваемом Хейко Блеером ихтиологическом журнале итак род Rivulus, ныне выглядит так 7 подродов Rvulus, Cynodonichtss, Anablepsoides,Benirivulus, Lamisomemion, Melanorivulus,Owiyeye Хотелось бы осветить поподробней, так может набросаю заметочку...

We describe a new genus to accommodate the species originally described as Rivulus stellifer Thomerson & Turner, 1973, but currently referred to the genus Rachovia Myers, 1927. Rachovia stellifer has had a complicated taxonomic history and has, at various times since its description, been placed in and out of three genera: Rivulus Poey, 1860, Pituna Costa, 1989 and Rachovia. However, phylogenetic analyses using 3537 mitochondrial and nuclear characters, and 93 morphological characters indicate it is not a member of any of these genera, but place it as a deeply divergent sister species to the genus Gnatholebias Costa, 1998. In addition to molecular characters, it is distinguished from the genera Rachovia and Gnatholebias by 13 and 33 morphological character states, respectively.

A phylogenetic analysis based on morphological characters indicates that Leptolebias Myers, 1952, a genus of small killifishes highly threatened with extinction, from Brazil, is paraphyletic. As a consequence, Leptolebias is restricted in this study to a well-supported clade that includes Leptolebias marmoratus (Ladiges, 1934), Leptolebias splendens (Myers, 1942), Leptolebias opalescens (Myers, 1942), and Leptolebias citrinipinnis ( Costa, Lacerda & Tanizaki, 1988), from the coastal plains of Rio de Janeiro, and Leptolebias aureoguttatus ( Cruz, 1974) (herein redescribed, and for which a lectotype is designated) and Leptolebias itanhaensis? sp.?nov., from the coastal plains of S

Rivulus formosensis, new species of the subgenus Melanorivulus, is described from the upper Corrente River drainage, a part of the Paranaiba River drainage of the upper Parana River basin, central Brazil. It is considered a member of the R. pictus clade, which is diagnosed by the flank being intense greenish blue, to purplish blue above anal-fin base in males. It is distinguished from other species of Melanorivulus by a unique color pattern consisting of Y-shaped red marks on the flank in males.

Rivulus giarettai, new species, from the Araguari river drainage, upper rio Parana basin, Brazil, is described. This is the first record of a rivulid in tributaries of the left bank of the Paranaiba river. Rivulus giarettai differs from all other species of the subgenus Melanorivulus by possessing a unique color pattern on flank in males, in which red pigmentation is arranged to form a vermiculate pattern. It is similar to species endemic to the central Brazilian plateau in having ventral process of angulo-articular vestigial, first epibranchial curved, and flank intense greenish blue or greenish golden, to purplish blue above anal-fin base in males; it differs from central Brazilian plateau species by a combination of reduction of black pigmentation on head and humeral region in males, 34-36 scales on the longitudinal series, 30-32 caudal-fin rays, 3-4 vomerine teeth, and caudal fin with bars in both sexes.

A new species of annual killifish, Nothobranchius nubaensis, is described based on specimens collected from ephemeral water bodies in central Sudan and south-west Ethiopia. The new species is distinguished from the other members of the Nothobranchius ugandensis species group by the following combination of characters: 17-19 dorsal fin rays; 17-19 anal fin rays; 29-30 scales in median lateral series; dorsal and anal fins in males with short filamentous rays; pelvic fins short, tips reaching the anus; orange red head with three distinct oblique bars on the operculum; dorsal fin light blue with a pattern of irregular orange-red spots and elongated yellow spots in distal areas; anal fin yellow, light blue at base, with a pattern of orange-red spots; pelvic fins yellow with a pattern of orange-red spots; pectoral fins orange-red with a light blue margin; caudal fin orange-red with short pale or dark red lines, extending from fin base onto fin rays.

Да, Сергей, прав. Наверное, будет лучше для русскоязычного сайта, если вместе с подобными новостями систематики будет хотя бы несколько строк на русском. Так будет доступнее для всех.
Понятно, что мороки немного больше, но, зато такие сообщения оценит намного больше людей.

Само описание рыбы -это понятно.Вопрос что было описано в 2003 под этим же названием?и как это пересекается с новым описанием?
вторую сноску(ту что Ник выставил)можно перевести?
Серега я бы выставил, но перевод Google такой корявый.
смысл в том что описание было временное и не полное, позднее признано недействительным.
